Golden Buffet in Reedsburg

My boys and I love golden buffet our favorite place out.

Great service and Great Food

Always good....always fresh.....always plenty.

Kind of my go to for take out. Can't say much about the dine-in or buffet experience, though I've done both once; both times for lunch and it was fine.

Every restaurant may have an "off" day, so after a bad experience last time gave it a try. For the very last time. NOTHING on the buffet was full, new, or warm. I picked what didn't appear to have been there for hours. Two bites in found a hair In my food. Spit it out, called the waitress over and told her I was done. And why. Takes my plate away and comes back with a bill for TWO DOLLARS OFF. Basically I paid $7.99 for my half glass of ice tea. Never again.

Everything that I ate there was delicious. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food but everybody else in my party likes it so we ate there. They have plenty of other kinds of food to eat. I left there full and happy with the service.

I love this place foods always good and hot lots to choose from THE MOST KID FRIENDLY PLACE WE HAVE EVER BEEN TO the employees are awsome always willing to help distract the kids when they are getting a little wild even showed them how to use chop sticks. id give 5 stars but they never have peanutbutter chicken they have peanut chicken and its ok but if u want real peanutbutter chicken only place i find it is the buffet by walgreens in sauk but the pb chicken in sauk is about the only thing worth getting at that one thats why we like reedsburges best

Wish they would have the sour cream shrimp during the day. I love it.

No wonton soup, no white or fried rice, food was either cold or hard like had been sitting for hours. Literally only 1 of us ate a half plate of food out of the group of 4. Just plain horrible. Buffet is a great thing if done right, which this place is not.

Not great quality but there is a lot of quantity.

best chicken on a stick, by far ! Rest of their dishes are tasty too. I would love to get their recipe for their chicken on a stick.

Food wasnt hot or fresh! NOT HELD AT 140° WHICH PROMOTES FOOD POISONING! I usually love eating here. Not today. Very disappointed. Dirty floors & bathroom. Ceiling tiles & carpeting water stained from roof leak. Bbq sticks, seafood, stir fries all had NO FLAVOR. NO SPRINKLES FOR ICEMILK, WHICH WASNT FROZE TO ICECREAM CONSISTENCY! 32° to freeze! 42°=bowl of milk! Yuk!

The service is consistently speedy, good atmosphere, very kind staff. I will return here again when I get in the area.

Love this place! One of our family's favorite spots. Great food!! Best Chinese food in the area hands down! The owners are very sweet, friendly people as well and the staff is great. Place is always kept clean and the buffet is always kept full. Highly recommend!

We drive 20 miles just to eat there. We have even been going there once a week. The food is the best that's why we travel when there is a Chinese place even closer to our home. The owners are wonderful people as we have come to find out and the service is fast.

Friendly staff nice seating area for the area is the only buffet for Chinese other then baraboo. And they have a takeout menu which they prep quickly 10 min for a big order like 6 items.

The food is good, the people are nice. The carpet could use a good cleaning, its seen lots of traffic since they opened.

Great quality food, really good variety always fresh on the buffet. Great service keeping drinks filled and dishes cleared. But if you've only just gone for the buffet, don't forget they also have takeout. It's super good too, maybe even BETTER if that's possible!!

Chicken and broccoli had a soar taste. Eggs rolls and crab ragoon looked burnt. Food was luke warm.

Love the buffet. The food is always nicely prepared, and I've never had a problem with cold food. The environment is mostly very quiet and the waitresses I've had have been very nice.
